The calendar has turned to November which means some coaches are coaching for their jobs? Which men must win this week to cool down their hot seat?

We are in the home stretch of what has been a crazy and exciting college football season. While some coaches have saved their jobs and some weren’t ever on the hot seat to begin with, there are quite a few that are feeling the heat as the season draws nearer and nearer to its end.

Honorable Mention No. 1 – David Beaty

We start with the honorable mention of hot seats, kicking it off with David Beaty over at Kansas. Is three wins enough to cool Beaty’s seat down after having one at most the last three seasons? I don’t even know honestly. However, beating TCU is pretty cool for the Jayhawks and the Texas fans who are excited to no longer be the butt of “guess who lost to Texas” jokes. Although, the Longhorns losing to Kansas in football will never not be funny.

Kansas plays Iowa State. Could that one happen? Probably not, but who knows with the Jayhawks.

Honorable Mention No. 2 – Scott Frost

The second hot seat honorable mention goes to Scott Frost at Nebraska. While the Cornhuskers don’t have the ability to fire the man, he hasn’t had the year that anyone expected him to have. Coming from an undefeated run at UCF, people were expecting big things from him as he took over a program rich in history and success. That, however, has not happened. Not even close.

The Cornhuskers sit at 2-6 and take on Ohio State this week. Honestly, I couldn’t put Frost on a must-win list when that win just isn’t going to happen for his team.

On that note, let’s talk about those guys who really need to win:
