The first College Football Playoff rankings are out. The stakes of each game continue to rise as we enter into Week 10 of the season. Time to get bold.
We are in the home stretch guys. The playoff season is right around the corner and all of the sudden every single game seems to matter just a tiny bit more. Those teams at the top really aren’t messing around now, especially not the likes of those within that top four heading into Week 10.
What does this week have in store for us? Let’s talk bold predictions.
5. Alabama and Georgia win their divisions this week.
This one shouldn’t surprise anyone, but it is where I am starting in my predictions for the week. Let’s start with the East shall we?
Georgia and Kentucky face off live from Lexington in the game that will decide the East. You know just like we all predicted right? The Wildcats are obviously the team that everyone thought would be the biggest threat to Georgia this season. Not.
However, no matter what you thought or predicted, here we are in a game that will officially decide the SEC East. Will it be the Kentucky Wildcats heading to Atlanta this year or will the Bulldogs have a repeat trip? I’ve got Georgia in this one.
In the West, the Crimson Tide heads to Death Valley to take on the LSU Tigers. Both of these teams are ranked in the top four. Both of these teams are playing for a berth into the league’s biggest games. Will Tua and the TIde continue to roll or will their dreams of an undefeated season die in Death Valley? I’ve got Alabama in that one.
Simply put, despite absolute craziness around the conference, everything will end up just as everyone predicted it would.
