Ohio State Football needs a big November to keep their playoff hopes alive. Can the Buckeyes win out or will they fall short of their only goal?

The Ohio State Buckeyes’ October definitely didn’t end the way they wanted it to. Their final game of the month of October ended with a 29-point loss to the Purdue Boilermakers, providing a setback in a season where having one-loss is more crucial to your playoff chances then it has in the past.

The month of November provides many opportunities for the Buckeyes to get back on track. They can still win the Big Ten Conference and potentially, make the College Football Playoff. They have four games, two of which are on the road against the Michigan State Spartans and the Maryland Terrapins. The other two are at home including this Saturday’s matchup against the Nebraska Cornhuskers and their annual season finale against the Michigan Wolverines.

Winning out would obviously put them in the Big Ten Conference Championship Game and should put them into the Playoff. But it’s going to be a long month and it won’t be easy. The Buckeyes have played inconsistently throughout games and throughout the season. Hopefully, Ohio State’s bye week will provide the time off they need to get things straight.
