The Defense Steps Up

The Ohio State defense has been shaky at times this season, allowing over 450 yards in their last four games. Now yes, the Buckeyes have gone 3-1 in those four games but that one loss came in their last game showing their defense’s bad play caught up to them. But the Buckeyes have the talent on that side of the ball to win a conference championship and contend for national championship. So what can we expect from the Buckeyes’ defense in November?

The Buckeyes defense will step up and keep opposing offenses under 350 yards a game and allow no more than 24 points in their final four games. Those numbers don’t sound great but it’s an improvement for this Buckeye defense. Plus they play Nebraska and Maryland who have shown the ability to put up points on the scoreboard.

They also play two of the best defenses in the conference in the Wolverines and Spartans, so scoring may not come as easy. The Buckeyes offense is fine but it’s their defense that will decide their season’s fate.
