After a narrow victory over Tennessee, South Carolina Football looks to continue their winning ways on the road in Oxford against Ole Miss.

This one is shaping up to be at least semi-interesting as these two battle it out for any kind of relevance within the conference as a whole. Neither has had a particularly exciting season or any big-time wins to hang their hats on. Now, they face off in Oxford attempting to look for anything happy to cling to as the season nears its end.

Ole Miss has a decently strong offense and an extremely crappy defense. South Carolina has a decently strong defense and a very hot and cold offense. Which group takes the crown? Here is how you can watch the matchup.

Keys to Victory

For South Carolina, they will need to simply exploit the troubles that Ole Miss is already having on defense. Nothing about that team has been particularly noteworthy on that side of the ball. Sure they had a strong defensive second half against Arkansas, but jeez so did everyone else. The Gamecocks need to stick to their game plan to the end and they will come out victorious.

For Ole Miss, they need to get to Jake Bentley early and often. The young quarterback doesn’t do well under pressure so the more pressure the better here. They will also need to out-offense the Gamecocks, but Jordan Ta’amu and company can easily pull that one off.

Prediction

This game could get out of hand very quickly for either team, but more likely for Ole Miss. Their offense can only do so much if they aren’t on the field due to their defense being unable to make any kind of stops. While I am sure Jake Bentley will struggle for South Carolina like he always does, this one is the Gamecocks game to lose.

dark. Next. Picks for Week 10's top games

I am very sorry Rebels, but your only conference win this season may be against the Arkansas Razorbacks. If you think that is something to be proud of, well…please get your head checked or something alright?

Final Score: South Carolina 35, Ole Miss 17
