Texas A&M Football: 3 bold predictions on the road vs. Auburn
By Shelbie Warr
Texas A&M football is in desperate need of a bounce-back win after a loss to Mississippi State in Week 9. Can they get it done against Auburn in Week 10?
Texas A&M was the talk of the town in terms of programs on the up and up. Now though, people are wondering if this team can survive another November now that they have a new head coach at the helm. Oh yeah, Jimbo Fisher is now coaching at Texas A&M, just in case you guys hadn’t heard from the thousands of Aggies professing their love and support for the man who they gave a $75 million contract to in the offseason.
While Texas A&M was riding high and proud, they quickly ran into a buzz saw named Mississippi State. More specifically, Nick Fitzgerald, the man who has been a thorn in the Aggies side for quite a while.
Here are three bold predictions for the Aggies’ upcoming tilt against Auburn?
3. Tradition holds once again for the Aggies.
There is nothing stronger in Aggieland than tradition. It is said that if something happens three times it becomes a tradition. If that is true, then it has become a tradition for the road team to win this game and my first bold prediction is quite simply that the tradition holds as the Aggies find a way to knock out the Auburn Tigers to open the much dreaded month of November and close out road play.
Auburn hasn’t exactly been the dominant team that many thought they would be, but neither has Texas A&M (though no one really thought the Aggies would be dominant at much). No matter what though, tradition is tradition and that means this is a win for the Aggies.
