4. Collin Johnson, Lil’Jordan Humphrey finish with 1,000 and 10

There’s no question that Sam Ehlinger has a couple of favorite targets. Collin Johnson and Lil’Jordan Humphrey have caught eight of his 13 touchdowns passes and have combined for 92 receptions and 1,263 yards on the season.

Both Johnson and Humphrey are averaging over 13.7 yards per catch, providing big plays at the right moments for the Longhorns. And while Ehlinger is going for 30 or more scores, he’ll have to share some of those touchdowns. Both Johnson and Humphrey will finish the season with over 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

One receiver having those numbers is normal but having two players reach those numbers would be amazing to see. It would provide an argument for both players to not only make the All-Big 12 team but also make the All-American team.

This prediction rides with their talent but also with the numbers mentioned above. Only one other player has over 20 receptions on the season and only one other player has more than one receiving touchdown, outside of these two.
