2. Topping the Mountaineers

To kick off the month of November, the Longhorns host the West Virginia Mountaineers in a pivotal matchup in the Big 12. The loser of this game wouldn’t be entirely eliminated from making the Big 12 title game but would need some along the way instead of controlling their own destiny. The Longhorns have already picked up a big win over the Oklahoma Sooners this season, meaning they are back to competing with the top teams in the conference.

And the Texas Longhorns will pick up another big win as they take down the West Virginia Mountaineers to start off November.

Winning this game would be the Longhorns in the driver’s seat, as they would need to potentially lose not just one but two games to be out of contention for the Big 12 title game.

In last season’s matchup, the Longhorns beat the Mountaineers but quarterback Will Grier went down with an injury and was unable to finish the game. The Longhorns are ready to put the doubters to rest and prove that even with Grier, the Mountaineers are no match for the Longhorns.
