1. Big 12 Championship

As stated before, making the College Football Playoff his a stretch for the Texas Longhorns, but an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game is well in their reach. Picking up a win over West Virginia would spark a run for the Longhorns to make the conference title game. Texas still has the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Iowa State Cyclones and Kansas Jayhawks remaining on their schedule, but if they can beat Oklahoma and West Virginia, they should be able to get that trio of games.

The Texas Longhorns will have a great month and finish the season strong, as they clinch a spot in the 2018 Big 12 Conference Championship Game.

While some thought the Longhorns would make the title game, many thought they were still a year or so away. Those who thought the Longhorns could win, most thought it would be because of the conference having a down year. But it’s time to get real and it’s time for all those who have doubted the Longhorns to start respecting the fact that the Longhorns are back and are here to stay.

Kicking off the month of November with a win over West Virginia, followed by great individual performances on both sides of the ball, will lead the Longhorns back to the top of the Big 12 as they compete for their first conference championship since 2009.
