College GameDay is staying down south, moving over from Georgia vs Florida in Week 9 for LSU vs Alabama in Week 10. Who did Lee Corso pick?
The LSU Tigers had their doubters entering the 2018 season. Coach Ed Orgeron had led his team to a nine-win season the year before, but the jury was still out on his competency as a head football coach. Not only have those questions been put to bed, LSU has a chance to knock off Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide and seize control of their own destiny in the SEC West.
No. 3 LSU meets No. 1 Alabama in Baton Rouge with College GameDays in town for all of the festivities. Sophomore quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has led the Tide to a perfect record, throwing 25 touchdown passes without an interception, yet.
LSU counters with a defense-driven success story. Transfer quarterback Joe Burrow has been steady, but the ferocity of linebacker Devin White has given this team increasing confidence. White is out for the first half against Alabama because of a targeting penalty called against him in the Tigers’ previous game.
Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard were joined guest picker Alex Bregman on stage with Lee Corso. The crew made their way through an action-packed slate of Week 10 games before getting to the main event: Alabama vs LSU.
Corso kept things interesting. Here was the scene when it came time for the host to dawn headgear and make his official prediction. He stuck with the Tide.

LSU and Alabama aren’t the only pair of elite SEC teams meeting on the gridiron in Week 10 — in the 3:30 p.m. ET afternoon slate No. 6 Georgia visits No. 11 Kentucky. While they’re underway, No. 15 Texas hosts No. 12 West Virginia and No. 5 Michigan hosts No. 14 Penn State. The evening slate also includes a showdown between Oklahoma State and Texas Tech and Navy’s annual matchup with Notre Dame.
