College Football Week 11 TV schedule: How to binge-watch
Saturday 7:00-8:00
Auburn at Georgia, 7:00 p.m. EST, ESPN
Auburn is good for exactly one upset of a good team a year, because that’s enough to keep Gus Malzahn employed for another year. Seeing as Alabama is completely unbeatable, that upset probably has to happen here, and it probably has to happen by like, 40 points, just to confuse Auburn fans even further.
One sentence sell: Just watch it for a little bit to see if it’ll be close, and decide from there.
USF at Cincinnati, 7:00 p.m. EST, ESPNU
This is probably the best game of the night, although there is a chance that Cincinnati just blows the doors off a reeling USF team. Cincy’s defense is awesome, and if USF can get back on track, their offense against that defense will be a super fun matchup. If Cincinnati wins, they’ll still have a chance to win the AAC.
One sentence sell: It’s much better than Auburn at Georgia.
Texas at Texas Tech, 7:30 p.m. EST, FOX
Tom Herman is getting progressively more upset each week, which means he may actually fist fight Kliff Kingsbury this week when Texas Tech passes for 800 yards and still loses because the Air Raid is a horrible scheme. The funnier option, of course, is Texas losing and falling to 6-4 after being declared back by a bunch of morons.
One sentence sell: You like points, we’ve got points.
Clemson at Boston College, 8:00 p.m. EST, ABC
This is the gameday game so I’m putting it on here, but I’m going to level with you: I don’t think this is even close. Clemson is so, so good, and while Boston College is solid, they just aren’t talented enough to get this done. It should be a cool environment, and I’m glad BC gets to host Gameday, but I think folks are lying to themselves about this one being close.
One sentence sell: Do not watch this football game.
I’m not going to give picks for the night slate because there are no watchable games in it. The Pac-12 should be ashamed.
