One college football coach is already out the door, seats are heating up and fast. Who has to win this week to avoid following in David Beaty’s footsteps?

David Beaty is officially out at Kansas. I guess three wins isn’t enough of an improvement, even when you average all of one a season since you became the head coach of the program. Sorry Beaty, maybe it’s time to go back to being an assistant coach for a while. Could Les Miles be the next man up in Lawrence?

I’d put guys like Chad Morris on this list, but the thought of Arkansas pulling off the upset of LSU is comical to say the least. The Razorbacks are just plain bad this season. Nothing is going to save them at this point. It’s just not going to happen. Over in the Big Ten, a near win over Ohio State may have saved Scott Frost at Nebraska- at least for a little while. How long that will last I don’t know, but I don’t think the Cornhuskers will throw in the towel on Frost just yet.

Now, let’s talk honorable mention before we get onto the main list shall we? This week’s “I’m not getting fired, but people are mad at me” title goes to Dan Mullen down in Florida. Am I convinced that Mullen is the coach of the future for the Gators? Yeah I am. However, a loss to Missouri isn’t exactly the way to get fans and boosters on your side.

On that note, onto the main list we go.
