2. Willie Taggart, Florida State

Let me be frank, I was never a fan of this hire for the Seminoles. I didn’t think that Taggart had the necessary tools to replace Jimbo Fisher and now as the season continues to progress, I am only more and more convinced in my original thinking. He is trying hard to make a culture change at Florida State, but honestly I don’t think the players have bought into his philosophy just yet and a lot of that has to do with the team’s current record.

I personally think Taggart is a great head coach. The fact that he has no problem coming out and saying when his team basically quit on a game is a big deal in my opinion. However, the issue is that the Seminoles have quit quite a bit this season and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. That is in the hands of head coach Willie Taggart to fix.

The Seminoles are taking on Notre Dame this week. As the Irish are without their starting quarterback for the week, this would be the perfect time for the Noles to put it all together and show the world that Taggart is doing something right down in Tallahassee.
