1. Urban Meyer, Ohio State

Go ahead and call me crazy if you want, but Urban Meyer’s days at Ohio State are numbered at the moment. The loss to Purdue that knocked them out of any kind of playoff contention and the near loss to Nebraska were honestly just icing on the cake for those who are on the “Fire Urban Meyer” train.

This all started with drama in the offseason. Very few people would have said much if anything at all about Meyer before the issues with how Meyer handled certain situations emerged. Since then, it seems to me that the team and the university just look at him differently. They look at him as the man who quite basically didn’t take the action that he should have.

This week, Ohio State meets up with Michigan State. This is a game that could make or break Urban Meyer’s career as the head coach of the Buckeyes. A loss to Michigan State after losing to Purdue and then nearly being knocked off by Nebraska would make the “Fire Meyer” sayers even louder than before.

So, like I said, call me crazy if you want, but Urban Meyer is very much on the hot seat.
