Kentucky Football: 3 Bold Predictions vs. Tennessee
By Shelbie Warr
1. This game will end up with a score in the mid-teens.
Kentucky’s offense isn’t explosive. They don’t go downfield for big plays. They don’t seem to get big-time runs on a routine basis no matter how good Snell is. They simply rely on their defense to keep the other team off balance and hope that their offense can do enough to win.
On the other side, you have a Tennessee offense that is struggling in terms of confidence and has been up and down all season. Facing off against Josh Allen– one of the rising stars in terms of the NFL Draft- will be a hard fight for the Volunteers offense who already isn’t that great to begin with.
While both Terry Wilson and Jarrett Guarantano are decent enough quarterbacks, neither are big play prone and the scoreboard will show that. Tennessee will need to score at least a bit to make this one exciting. Georgia was able to do it. Texas A&M was. Missouri was. I truly believe that the Kentucky defense will be what gives the Wildcats the win on Saturday afternoon, led by Josh Allen.
However, I would not be surprised if this game totals less than 30 points between the two teams. What do you say guys, the first to 14 wins?
