While Alabama once again solidified their spot at the top, the rest of SEC football seems to be in chaos. How do the power rankings shake out this week?
More: How do these ranks compare to Week 9?
Alabama is the top of the SEC. No one is arguing that and if they are…well they have lost their mind. The Tide showed the world that they aren’t messing around by shutting out LSU live from Death Valley in Week 10. How does the rest of the conference shake out in terms of power rankings?
Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up shall we?
The Razorbacks are the bottom of the SEC and it really isn’t even close. I’m sorry Arkansas, but if you haven’t already it’s time to give up on football season and move on to whatever it is you look forward to in Fayetteville.
Is Chad Morris the coach of the future for the Razorbacks? Who knows. However, we do know that the 2018 season has not at all gone as their fans expected it to. Why their fans were expecting much of anything I don’t know, but here they are at the bottom of the SEC, fighting for any type of relevancy as the season.
The bye week did nothing for the Razorbacks. Now, they face off against LSU in a game that will very likely murder any remaining hopes and dreams Arkansas has.
After falling to South Carolina, the Rebels stay put at No. 13 in this week’s power rankings. Even worse for them, they play a Texas A&M team that is in free fall after back to back losses to Mississippi State and Auburn. A win against the Aggies wouldn’t do much for the Rebels except keep them over .500, especially as they are still under a bowl ban for the 2018 season.
Can Ole Miss push themselves and finish the season on a high note? We will have to wait and see for sure.
