Texas A&M football heads back to Kyle Field looking to rebound from back-to-back losses on the road. Can it secure a November win vs. Ole Miss?

Despite a vote of confidence from the majority of sports media a few weeks ago, the Aggies are now trying to figure out how to finish games and seasons on the same high notes that they start them on. They will get the chance to do just that as they face off against an Ole Miss team that has struggled in the defensive department so far this season.

So, without further ado or dwelling on the disappoints of the past, let’s get bold, y’all.

3. Kellen Mond rebounds — big time

Last week, everything unraveled for Kellen Mond and Co. after one bad pass was intercepted by Auburn. It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch the team that had dominated for three and a half quarters be demolished in the final seven or so minutes and fall to a team that they should have easily beaten.

Overall, in the words of Jimbo Fisher, Mond has been “good not great.” While Fisher was only talking about the matchup against Auburn, it could easily apply to quite a few games this season. Mond has been good enough to keep the Aggies in most games, but not at that level of great that guys like Jake Fromm and Tua Tagovailoa operate at.

My bold prediction? He throws for two touchdowns and runs for two more in a big time rebound effort by the sophomore signal caller and his offense. The possibility of having Jhamon Ausbon back is also looming large for the Aggies, so watch out for that one.
