College Football Playoff Rankings 2018: Top 25 projections for Week 12

Only two more weeks remain before conferences host title games. Who will factor into the College Football Playoff selection committee’s Top 25 this week?

As we near the end of the regular season and prepare for conference title games in 2018, the College Football Playoff selection committee continues to shuffle the deck of contenders with each passing week.

Popular opinion continues to coalesce around certain favorites to make the four-team field for the semifinals, but there is still plenty of time for chaos to swoop in and render all our best projections moot.

This week featured four different games where both teams were ranked in the committee’s Top 25. All but one of the teams will remain in the rankings after the way things shook out this week. But the door is still open for a few teams to emerge as new hopefuls as defeats rendered a few spots vacant.
