player. 32. . Cornerback. LSU Tigers. Greedy Williams. 2

Just like the Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected their quarterback-of-the-future in UCLA’s Josh Rosen. With a number of directions to take their 2019 first round pick, the Cardinals opt to find Patrick Peterson‘s replacement with another LSU-defensive back – Greedy Williams.

Trade rumors swirled about Peterson following his request to be moved prior to the trade deadline, and adding a player of Williams’ caliber could soften the loss of a staple on the outside like Peterson that seems likely.

Listed at 6-foot-3, Williams is a prototypical No. 1 NFL corner. With height like that, he’ll have no issue battling wide receivers like Julio Jones and Michael Thomas, assuming he adjusts to the speed and physicality of the game at the next level.

Williams earned his stripes as a redshirt freshman at LSU, starting every single game in 2017 at cornerback. In those starts, he led the SEC in interceptions with six and also averaged 1.3 passes defended per game.
