4. Matthew Eaton, WR

On a team with Hakeem Butler and David Montgomery, the other skill players are likely to see little use most weeks. Matthew Eaton, though, took full-advantage of his opportunities this past Saturday vs. Baylor.

Eaton, a senior for the Cyclones, hauled in three catches for 61 yards, including a season-long of 38 that helped keep the Iowa State offense humming right along against the Bear defense.

While he has just 23 receptions for 233 yards and two scores this year, Eaton has been used in the past. He finished his junior season with 21 catches for 208 yards, with four of those receptions find him in the end zone.

Defenses will continue to key on Butler and Deshaunte Jones, but as they do, Brock Purdy can sleep easy at night knowing Eaton is there with his senior leadership and experience ready to make the play.
