Big 12 Football Power Rankings 2018: Oklahoma the lone CFP contender?
TCU is done, and they have been for weeks. They got destroyed by West Virginia on Saturday, and you could pretty much tell that the players and staff are just ready for the season to be over.
This is a rebuilding year, and that’s fine. Gary Patterson will get things going again next season, Shawn Robinson should be better, and TCU should be back to winning. Just not any time this season, as they close with Baylor and Oklahoma State.
Baylor had the same thing happen to them on Saturday that just about every team Iowa State has played since October has. They didn’t get blown out or anything, and the final score was actually pretty respectable, but they never really had a shot. Iowa State’s defense and Brock Purdy are just too good for the Bears to match up with, and we knew that going in.
Baylor still has a chance to get bowl eligible, which is awesome this early on in the rebuild, and they probably will this weekend against TCU.
