Saturday: Night-cap

Arizona at Washington State, 10:30 p.m. EST, ESPN

Arizona has been secretly decent over the last month or so after their disastrous start. Washington State is 9-1, and still considered a playoff contender. No matter how much we try to run from it, we know the truth. This Wazzu run is untenable, and it feels like Khalil Tate could kill it for good on Saturday night.

One sentence sell: I’ll never turn down some late night offense.

Arizona State at Oregon, 10:30 p.m. EST, P12 Network

Arizona State can all but lock up the Pac-12 South with a win, while Oregon is desperately trying to get back on track. I think these teams are pretty evenly matched, and while it’s not the best game of the night by any means, it should be a pretty good watch.

One sentence sell: Put it on a second screen and just keep an eye on it.

Next. Picking the top games of Week 12 against the spread. dark

SDSU at Fresno State, 10:30 p.m. EST, CBSSN

Fresno State locks up the MWC West division with a win here, which would create an awesome title game between Fresno State and either Boise State or Utah State. If SDSU wins though, things get a little funky. The Aztecs would then have the tiebreak over Fresno State, but Nevada has the tiebreak over SDSU (Fresno State has the tiebreak over Nevada). That creates a scenario where either two of those three lose in the final week (not likely), or we go to whatever the MWC uses as their next in line tiebreak after head to head.

One sentence sell: It’ll be a defensive battle, and after a day of mostly offense heavy football, it’ll be a nice change of pace.
