Notre Dame football has seen an offensive resurgence after making a much-needed change at quarterback. Will it get the Fighting Irish into the playoff?

Notre Dame Football was at a potential crossroads with their offense this season. Senior Brandon Wimbush was returning and the coaching staff boasted improved accuracy from the quarterback.

Notre Dame’s defense has been one of the bright spots of this 2018 team, as it held Michigan to just 17 points in a season-opening win.

As the offense sputtered and couldn’t do much against inferior opponents, head coach Brian Kelly elected to make a change at quarterback, removing Wimbush and inserting Ian Book into the starting lineup.

The move has paid off as Notre Dame’s offense has added a consistent downfield passing game to an already potent running attack.

With the Fighting Irish rolling let’s take a look at the three most likely bowl scenarios for Notre Dame football.
