College GameDay broke away from the Power 5, making their way down to Florida for the Week 12 game between UCF and Cincinnati. Who did Lee Corso pick?

UCF has done everything right for the better part of a full calendar year, and then some. The Knights are riding a 22-game winning streak and have finally won their right to play in a marquee game, of sorts. It’s not the College Football Playoff berth they’re hoping for, but it is a primetime game with ESPN on hand.

The Knights host the Cincinnati Bearcats (9-1) with the fate of the AAC West hanging in the balance. UCF holds the tiebreaker over Temple, who beat Cincinnati. If UCF wins, the Knights claim the division. If Cincinnati wins there will be a three-way tie with one week left to play. How’s that for drama?

Rece Davis, Kirk HerbstreitDesmond Howard and Lee Corso transitioned from their set at Boston College last weekend to the much warmer weather in Florida. Each analyst made their predictions for Week 12, working their way toward the main event later in the evening.

UCF was at home and the clear favorite, but that didn’t stop Corso from drawing out his choice and making things interesting. Here’s his pick from the set of ESPN’s College GameDay.

There are a handful of other notable contests in an otherwise bland Week 12. No. 12 Syracuse plays No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 16 Iowa State plays No. 15 Texas. Outside of that, matchups such as Alabama vs The Citadel clutter a Saturday traditionally reserved for tune-up games prior to rivalry weekend. There are a handful of interesting pairings scattered between, but the major games should keep most of the nation’s attention on Saturday.
