1. Seminoles won’t let bowl streak go without a fight

There’s a streak that is spoken about often in Tallahassee. The nation’s longest bowl streak is alive and well at 36 years and with a win against Florida in the final week of the season, the Seminoles can keep that streak alive officially, punching their tickets to the postseason, but also keep the consecutive winning seasons streak alive.

Willie Taggart has had a rough first season in Tallahassee. He left Oregon for Florida State (his dream job) following the 2017 season, which shocked just about everyone and he knew he’d have some big shoes to fill — he didn’t think winning would be this difficult.

Florida State was just 4-6 heading into this game and it looked like the Seminoles were about to drop to 4-7 after falling behind 21-13 in the fourth quarter, but the talented group of Seminoles finally woke up and put together a couple of strong drives.
