2. Nick Fitzgerald is efficient as they come

It hasn’t been the season Nick Fitzgerald was expecting with new head coach Joe Moorhead, but the senior quarterback has had games like he did on Saturday against Arkansas every so often, making fans believe he’s one of the most dangerous scoring threats in the country.

Not only can Fitzgerald score touchdowns through the air, but he’s one of the best running quarterbacks in college football.

The senior quarterback had a big game, and boy was he efficient. He finished with 127 yards passing and four touchdowns and, get this, he only completed nine passes. He finished with a touchdown on nearly half of his completions which is all you can really ask for.

Fitzgerald also rushed 14 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Not often do you see a quarterback throw just 14 passes and account for five total touchdowns on the day.

Mississippi State could use this type of production every week.
