1. Ohio State doesn’t exactly look playoff-worthy

Before you ask, the answer is a resounding “no” when responding to the question, is Ohio State worthy of a playoff spot?

The Buckeyes struggled with a mediocre Maryland team in a game with which they should have run away. They couldn’t seem to stop a Maryland offense that hasn’t been able to move the ball against any contenders in the Big Ten or just any defense with a pulse and the Buckeyes couldn’t seem to do anything on that side of the ball.

Maryland had one final shot to win the game in regulation, throwing a Hail Mary to the end zone, but the fact that the No. 10 team in the country needed overtime to beat Maryland on the road is concerning for Urban Meyer and Co.

Is this the beginning of the end for Meyer and the Buckeyes? I’m not buying all that talk, but this season definitely hasn’t gone the way Ohio State has planned.

Ohio State doesn’t deserve a spot in the playoff and this game against Maryland is the exact reason for that notion.
