2. Clemson Tigers

After the departure of Kelly Bryant earlier in the season, faith and trust in the Clemson Tigers dropped significantly by much of college football. Belief in the team fell even further later that week when Clemson was nearly upset at home by Clemson. Although, that trust quickly came back the following week when the Tigers beat Wake Forrest by 60 points.

Since then, Clemson has continued to restore faith in the college football world by crushing every team in their path. Most recently, in Week 12, the Tigers defeated the Duke Blue Devils, 35-6.

While the many agree that the ACC is one of the weaker Power Five conferences, and Clemson has had one of the easier schedules out of the top-four, you can’t disregard the fact the nearly all of their games have been complete blowouts.

In the final regular season game of the year, the Tigers play at home against the South Carolina Gamecocks. South Carolina hasn’t been great this year, and this game is not likely to be close whatsoever, but the Gamecocks do have a talented roster. Clemson’s two goals for this game will be to put South Carolina away early and to remain healthy in preparation for the ACC Championship Game.
