1. David Sills is a man among boys

Pound for pound, it’s hard to argue Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray won’t be the best athlete on the field in this game. The MLB draft pick has taken the Big 12 by storm and etched his name into so many highlight reels everyone has long since lost count. In spite of all those heroics, though, Murry will only be as good as the cast of characters he surrounds himself with on the field.

CeeDee Lamb and Marquise Brown are two of the best playmakers in the conference. Most every quarterback would be thrilled to have either of those guys to throw the ball to, but West Virginia gunslinger will Grier has David Sills V on his side.

Sills has scored 13 touchdowns in 10 games this year with eight of those scores coming in the last six games. He’s averaging 14.4 yards per reception and is locked in as Grier’s No. 1 option in the passing game. Brown and Lamb have combined for 17 touchdown receptions. That’s respectable, it’s just not on par with the production Sills has had this season.

With the game on the line and one catch standing between a win and a loss, Sills has to be the top target. That will pay off for West Virginia against OU.
