1. Washington has nothing to lose

There’s something to be said about a team that has nothing to lose in a big matchup. Washington heads into the big Week 13 bout with nothing to lose, playoff-wise, which is terrifying for Washington State.

More pressure will be on the shoulders of the Cougars as they fight for their playoff lives. No Pac-12 team has a chance to make the College Football Playoff like Washington State does and it’ll have to win a game in which the Cougars haven’t had much success.

All eyes will be on the Apple Cup as fans will get to see what Washington will look like as a carefree team with nothing to lose and Washington State will be playing will all that pressure.

Mike Leach has yet to beat Chris Petersen in this game and this is the matchup with the most its ever had on the line for The Pirate.
