Thanks to a convincing win in a snowy Apple Cup, Washington has secured a spot in the Pac-12 Football Championship and the top spot in the latest power rankings.

The Huskies silenced Gardner Minshew and the high-octane Washington State offense, posting a 28-15 victory as snow continued to fall and pile up throughout the game. Washington won the North division, setting up a meeting this Saturday with South champion Utah.

The Utes stepped out of conference play and earned a hard-fought victory over long-time rival BYU, 35-27, vaulting themselves into the No. 2 spot in the power rankings.

Stanford, Oregon, California and Arizona State all posted wins in rivalry games, as the Cardinal will also be in action this coming week in a rescheduled contest with the Golden Bears.

Regardless of what happens in that contest, the Pac-12 has seven teams bowl eligible in Washington, Washington State, Stanford, Oregon, California, Utah and Arizona State. Losses this past week by USC, Arizona and Colorado kept them all from reaching that six-win mark.

Here are the latest Pac-12 power rankings as we enter the final week of the pre-bowls season:
