Saturday 12:00-3:00

Oklahoma vs. Texas, 12:00 p.m. EST, ABC

One of the four conference title games with playoff implications, the Red River Rematch is possibly the game I’m most excited for all weekend. Oklahoma is looking to avenge their loss to the Longhorns and make the playoff with a win (and an Alabama win), while Texas wants to ruin Oklahoma’s season and lock up a Sugar Bowl berth.

One sentence sell: A rivalry game in conference championship week is always great.

Middle Tennessee vs. UAB, 1:30 p.m. EST, CBSSN

It certainly isn’t getting the buzz that other premier games are, but don’t be fooled. UAB vs. MTSU will be an awesome football game. Both teams have been super fun to watch this year, and UAB is an outstanding story. The winner will get to choose the bowl they go to from the conference’s pre-determined list, likely based on location.

One sentence sell: It’ll serve as a great connection between the end of the Big 12 Championship Game and the beginning of the next batch of games.
