Saturday 7:45-10:00

Boise State vs. Fresno State, 7:45 p.m. EST, ESPN

This could honestly be the best football of the day. The last time these two played, Boise State scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to win, and it was an absolute battle for 60 minutes. With the Las Vegas Bowl, and possibly a New Year’s Six berth on the line, both teams will likely go all out, which should make for a great matchup.

One sentence sell: Much better than the Clemson/Ohio State try to score 80 show.

dark. Next. Picks for every conference championship game

Ohio State vs. Northwestern, 8:00 p.m. EST, FOX

I don’t think Northwestern is any good, but then again, Ohio State has been good exactly one time this season, so who knows. Maybe this will be a banger, and Northwestern will keep it close and interesting for 60 minutes. Probably not though. The same is true for Clemson vs. Pitt. Watch it because it’s football, and because it does matter, but not because it’ll be fun.

One sentence sell: It’s the last game of the night and you’ve gotta watch something.
