Ohio State football and the Northwestern Wildcats faced off in an exciting Big Ten Conference Championship Game. Here’s what we learned.

The Ohio State-Northwestern matchup was in competition with Clemson-Pitt for the most lopsided conference championship game of the season. But by no means was this game one-sided. With less than two minutes left in the third quarter, the Buckeyes were only leading by a single field goal.

However, as the third quarter came to a close, and in the fourth quarter, Ohio State began to break away with the lead. The Buckeyes outscored Northwestern 21-3 in the final 16 minutes of the game. Ultimately, Ohio State took home the Big Ten Championship in a 45-24 victory.
