Saturday afternoon

South Dakota State at Kennesaw State, 2:00 p.m. EST, ESPN Extra

This should also be a super fun matchup. Kennesaw State’s triple option offense against one of the best defenses in the FCS for a spot in the semi-finals. South Dakota State seems to have the momentum after crushing Duquesne, 51-6 last week, but I wouldn’t count out Kennesaw State and their turnover plank quite yet.

One sentence sell: One of the more interesting offensive matchups of the day.

Army vs. Navy, 3:00 p.m. EST, CBS

This one doesn’t need explaining. It’s Army-navy. The uniforms will be gorgeous, the spectacle will be awesome, and the game itself will be awesome. I know Army is significantly better than Navy this year, but when two teams are running the triple option, there’s no such thing as a blowout. This should be a battle for four quarters, and a great cap on the FBS season.

One sentence sell: You’re gonna watch this one.

UC Davis at Eastern Washington, 4:00 p.m. EST, ESPN Extra

The last game of the day is a west coast banger, led by two elite quarterbacks in UC Davis’ Jake Maier and Eastern Washington’s Eric Barriere. This has the potential to be a bit of a shootout, but even if it doesn’t hit full shootout, it’s a great matchup, and should be a lot of fun to watch as you end you college football day.

One sentence sell: How can you pass up on the red field?
