Similar to the LSU Tigers, the Note Dame Fighting Irish have also significantly exceeded expectations this year by going undefeated and being selected as the number three seed in the 2018 College Football Playoff. Notre Dame’s offense has struggled at times but their defense has picked up the slack when the team needed them to.

Julian Love, the third year starting at cornerback for the Irish, has been one of the few true, lock-down cornerbacks in college football this year. In his three years with the Irish, he has totaled five interceptions, two being taken back for touchdowns. Additionally, he has recovered three fumbles and forced a fumble just this year alone.

The Vikings have an incredible amount of talent on offense. They have weapons at every position. It is possible that they take an offensive to further supplement the offensive attack. However, it is much more likely they lean towards improving a defense that has been riddled with injuries.
