Neither Tyler Higbee nor Gerald Everett are the most threatening tight ends in the redzone. However, they do a great job blocking for Todd Gurley. If only the Rams could maintain their ability to block the edge with a tight end, but also develop a passing threat from the position, all the while keeping the cost low in their already inflated pay roll. Oh wait, they can.

Iowa’s Noah Fant is the perfect solution to the Rams’ dilemma. At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Fant is basically an athletic offensive lineman running down field ready to terror up any safety or linebacker attempting to defend him. He has scored 18 touchdowns over the past two seasons for the Hawkeyes.

The Rams don’t really have much specifically to improve upon. Adding Noah Fant will only make the Rams an even more dominant force in the NFC. Sean McVay’s squad is going to be good for a long time.
