Call me crazy, but I really don’t think this is as far-fetched as many may think. Although, a lot of things need to happen in order for this to be a possibility. Kyler Murray needs to change his mind about playing baseball professionally and chose football. But after having this kind of season, I think a switch is entirely possible.

Next, everyone will have to pass on him for the Patriots to even have a shot. And here’s why I think that is likely as well. Kyler Murray is 5-foot-10. And I know short quarterbacks are all the fad these days, but not that short. Baker Mayfield was called small and he’s 6-foot-1. So, Murrary’s size will definitely be a reservation for many teams, despite his clear talent at the position.

This, of course, will require the Patriots to admit Tom Brady won’t play forever and they need to start grooming a replacement for him. Once they do that, Mystery of Belichick Player Personnel Selection and Coaching will come into effect and they will transform Kyler Murray into the next Tom Brady.
