Four-star dual-threat QB Jayden Daniels is set to announce his commitment on Dec. 13. Here’s why UCLA football makes the most sense for him.

One of the biggest remaining uncommitted prospects in the country is Jayden Daniels, the four-star dual-threat quarterback from San Bernardino, Calif. The talented prospect is ranked as the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2019 class, and currently the No. 82 ranked player overall.

Daniels holds a litany of offers from big programs, and has decided to remain in the PAC-12 by whittling his list down to four schools. The remaining contenders for his signature are Arizona State, California, UCLA and Utah.

Daniels visited all four of the schools, but his recruitment has been played pretty close to the vest with very few having an idea of where he might be leaning. Arizona State is the favorite according to the Crystal Ball, with a wide-open QB race in Tempe due to Manny Wilkins’ departure no doubt enticing to Daniels.

Early playing time plays a big factor nowadays, particularly for quarterback’s, and particularly with the less strict transfer rules allowing for players to move from school-to-school without as big of penalties.

Each one of his finalists has something unique to offer, but the obvious choice for him is to head to Westwood to play for Chip Kelly.

Here are three reasons Daniels should commit to the Bruins.
