2. Mike Glass III to Arthur Jackson III a lethal combo

Eastern Michigan was playing from behind for most of the game, but they managed to snatch their first lead of the Camellia Bowl with just 3:33 remaining. That go-ahead score came on a fourth-down pass from Mike Glass III to Arthur Jackson III from five yards out, as the MAC middleweights rolled the dice and won big.

Glass spread the ball around, connecting with eight different receivers as he went 17-of-25 for 204 yards and three scores. But while found Jackson on only three of his 17 completions, the receiver was the most dynamic threat. Jackson finished with 86 yards and two touchdowns, making the most of his three receptions.

Jackson pulled in his first touchdown on the opening play of the second half, tiptoeing the sideline and then spinning around his defensive back before bolting the 75 yards to the goal line ahead of the trailing defenders. Jackson added the second touchdown on an impressive display of spatial awareness, getting his left foot down cleanly before his right heel clipped the back line of the endzone.

It wasn’t enough to ultimately come out ahead at the end, but Glass and Jackson did everything they possibly could to keep Eastern Michigan in the contest.
