2. Sewo Olonilua could be a star for TCU in 2019

We already know TCU will be looking for a new quarterback next season after Shawn Robinson decided to transfer to Missouri, but Darius Anderson looked to be the clear starter at running back for 2019, but Sewo Olonilua starred with extended carries.

For the first time this season, the junior running back and second-leading rusher on the team recorded more than 20 carries and he did not disappoint with Anderson out, winning the offensive player of the game award with 194 yards and the Horned Frogs’ only touchdown. Moreover, he put together an effective attack, averaging 6.1 yards per touch.

Olonilua was running hard all game long and breaking tackles left and right on his way to a career game and he may have set up a competition for the starting job next season.

Anderson will be the favorite to start the year as the lead back, but don’t sleep on the strong style of Olonilua. It’s not easy to slow a 6-foot-3, 230-pound back and he put on a show against the Golden Bears.
