1. Slow and methodical or fast and up-tempo?

UCF sends an extremely fast and up-tempo offense to the Fiesta Bowl. It is a team that can gain yards and put up scores in a hurry and can easily grab momentum which is a big time thing in a game like this.

The rushing attack for UCF has been relentless all season long, making up for their lack of run defense tenfold for sure. This offense feeds off of any sort of positivity to say the least, so if the Golden Knights can get things going early against a stout LSU defense, this could be another big win over an SEC team for UCF.

On the other side you have LSU, a team that operates on a slow and methodical level in terms of offense. They can run the hurry up when necessary, but overall this is a team that has a very low pass efficiency and gives up quite a few sacks behind a line that allows big time plays in the backfield.

The winner of this game will set the tempo and force the other team to match that tempo. If LSU can force UCF to slow down or throw off their tempo this will be an easy win for the Tigers. However, if the Golden Knights can force Joe Burrow to get the ball out quickly and attempt to shut down what LSU does well on offense, this could be a great day to be a UCF Golden Knight.
