4. Kentucky struggles on offense and that is going to kill them

Penn State has quite the pass rush, one we will discuss in detail a bit later. However, despite Kentucky having one as well, that can’t help their offense as much as they would like them, too. Terry “Touchdown” Wilson and Benny Snell haven’t exactly been everything that they could be and as a result, this team is playing in game that isn’t an official New Year’s Six matchup despite being played on New Years Day.

Kentucky’s biggest issue? Red zone offense. Penn State’s biggest strength? Red zone defense. That seems like a recipe for disaster for the Wildcats to me for sure. Kentucky only comes away with points 79 percent of the time. That won’t fly against a team that only allows opposing offenses to score 23 out of 32 times inside the 20.

Let us all go back to SEC Media Days, when Benny Snell announces that he is, without a doubt, the best running back in the conference. I know I bring this up a lot, but I feel like it’s important. To make a statement like that, you have to put your money where your mouth is so to speak and now is the time to do it.

Of course, win or lose, Kentucky has had quite the season being Kentucky and all. As it stands right now though, Kentucky has to figure out how to get their offense going if they want to come out of this one victorious.
