Trayveon Williams burst onto the scene in 2018 tallying nearly 1,800 yards on the ground. The Texas A&M football star should return for his senior year.

Junior running back Trayveon Williams demanded the attention of the nation on New Years Eve, racking up 236 yards and three touchdowns against a formidable opponent in NC State. The Aggie back was already on the radar of some, notching two 1,000 yard plus seasons in his time in Aggieland and claiming the SEC rushing title in 2018.

The question now is this: should Williams stick around for one more year? Here’s why returning for his seniors season would be a great decision for Williams and the Aggies.

5. To complete his degree.

Yeah, I’m one of those people that reads way too much into tweets, but here we are with me making yet another argument based on a tweet. Early in December, Trayveon Williams posted a signing day tweet speaking of how he chose Texas A&M and how happy he was with that decision.

Maybe I am reading too far into things and heck, I probably am, but that kind of tweet tells me Williams is seriously considering his senior year. Football doesn’t last forever, especially as a running back, so a degree is always a great thing to fall back on.
