2. Wide Receiver Kendrick Rogers’ Game Winning 2-Point Catch vs. LSU

Like I said, this game makes up a pretty big part of the Aggies season and as a result this countdown. The rest of the season was impressive, to say the least, but this game was everything to this team and that was shown by each and every point scored and each and every overtime. Simply put, neither of these teams was going to give in by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, mind you, the winning play isn’t the No. 1 play of the season, but it sure is close. At this point, there is something that ranks above the game-winner by Kendrick Rogers and you will find what that is in just a minute, but for now, we are once again talking about how great Kendrick Rogers has been this season. Tell me if you’ve heard something like that statement before in this article and on social media week in and week out of the 2018 season.

This game was full of ups and downs, big time plays and lots and lots of overtime. One or two overtimes is normal in a game such as this one, a rivalry game where one half of said rivalry has been all but dead for the longest time. This wasn’t one or two though, this was seven. This was into the territory of forced two-point conversions and almost 200 overall points.

As the Aggies hadn’t beaten LSU since joining the SEC and the game took so much of an emotional and physical toll on everyone involved, Kendrick Roger’s game-winning two-point conversion ranks at No. 2 in the 2018 Best Moment’s countdown.
