4. Trevor Lawrence

Dynasty’s do last for longer than one player’s college career, but as long as Clemson has Trevor Lawrence, they will contend and likely win at least another national championship in his career, if not multiple championships. The first true freshman to start and win a national championship since Jamelle Holieway for Oklahoma in 1985.

Lawrence looked anything but a freshman, completing 20-of-32 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns, capturing the game’s offensive MVP honors. Lawrence’s performance had many draft analysts drooling over the potential he has once he is eligible to leave for the NFL, drawing comparisons to some of the best quarterback prospects in the last 25 years.

Now will some say it’s too early? Absolutely. But everyone said the same thing about Tua Tagovailoa last season, and then went out and set the world on fire. By all accounts, many agree that Lawrence is better than Tagovailoa and will be the early favorite to win the Heisman in 2019. The skies in Clemson, South Carolina are going to be full of Lawrence dimes for at least the next two seasons.
