5. “I demand to return the punt…for a touchdown.” –Lynn Bowden Jr.

This is one of the single most hilarious moments of the season for any team. Let me set the scene for you. Kentucky was struggling against Missouri and that was putting it mildly. The Wildcats are down 14-3 as the Tigers scored yet again.

The next series, the Kentucky defense does what they do best, force a punt. Now, the question for Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops was this- who will return this punt. Well, Lynn Bowden Jr. basically demanded to be the punt returner and what did he do? Oh, he just returned that punt for a touchdown, putting the Wildcats in striking distance of another victory before they headed out to face the surging Georgia Bulldogs.

4. CJ Conrad’s game-winning touchdown with no time left on the clock.

There is a second moment from the Missouri game that will go down in Kentucky lore forever. As the seconds ticked down it looked like, despite putting together an important drive to get into the red zone, that this one would be a loss for the Wildcats. CJ Conrad had other ideas though. It all starts with a questionable at best pass interference call as the clock hits zero. The Missouri defender had this to say about the call, which included some hand fighting by the receiver as well.

“I played it as perfectly as I could. His hands were all over my helmet. I tried my best to get his hands off. I guess the referee saw otherwise.”

Due to the call, Kentucky got one untimed down- their last chance to come out on top. The play? Terry Wilson to CJ Conrad for a touchdown from the two-yard line. Seems like that call changed everything, which made quite a few Missouri fans upset and Kentucky fans absolutely ecstatic.
