Georgia Bulldogs: Most likely to miss their quarterback transfer

There have been a huge amount of quarterbacks entering the transfer portal and finding new programs this offseason. Heck, I wrote a whole article about it. However, no one caused more drama than Georgia quarterback Justin Fields heading out of the SEC and to Ohio State. His move caused a once overly cocky and confident Tate Martell to make a move of his own, finding a home at Miami.

So, with Justin Fields heading to Ohio State, Jake Fromm stays as the big name quarterback in Athens. Is he enough to carry this team to where they want to go in 2019? I am not so sure if we are being completely honest. Look at the Sugar Bowl. Look at the 2018 National Title game. Look at the 2018 SEC Championship. Georgia can’t hold a lead when they have one and they are recently struggling to put together one at all. That is a big time issue.

All that being said, Georgia gets my “most likely to miss their quarterback transfer” award because let’s all be real here, Justin Fields is an extremely talented young man and to lose a guy like that when QB1 is struggling mightily in important games is a struggle.
