Kentucky Wildcats: Most likely to be the SEC East sleeper…again.

No one had any faith in Kentucky this time last year and as the season got closer and closer, that didn’t change a bit. Yes, they had Benny Snell and he was known to be a talented guy to have in the backfield. However, no one thought that Mark Stoops and company would really be able to put together a season to remember in Lexington.

Of course, we all know that isn’t what happened now that the Wildcats have won 10 games and the Citrus Bowl over Penn State. That didn’t happen by accident. Benny Snell had a season to remember as he broke multiple records and that defense kept the team in each and every game they played in. Josh Allen, just wow. That kind is going places in the NFL I’m telling you that now.

Now, with Benny Snell and Allen heading to the NFL, many are already counting the Wildcats out for the 2019 season. They say that quarterback Terry Wilson won’t be able to pull things off without his offensive counterpart in Snell. Allen was the leader of that defense and without him, the question now is if the unit will be the same.

I’m telling you right now that Kentucky will once again catch the nation off guard and be the sleeper in the SEC East, maybe in the entire conference.
