4. Benny Snell, Josh Allen are two of the best Kentucky’s ever had

Let’s start with Benny Snell. The Kentucky all time touchdown and rushing leader. The kid who claimed to be the best of the best in the SEC at Media Days and then put his money where his mouth is week after week in the regular and post season. He had three 1,000 yard rushing seasons during his time at Kentucky. In 2018, the junior finished with 1,554 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns.

With 3,729 yards and 46 touchdowns on his resume, this kid will make some NFL team very happy after the 2019 Draft. Don’t expect him to get picked up too early though, he’ll likely be a Day 3 pick due to his lack of “burst and speed” according to many NFL analysts.

We then move to the captain of the Kentucky defense: linebacker Josh Allen. The senior is on many people’s draft boards in the first round after spending the last few seasons completely under the radar and unnoticed. The kid had a solid 2017 season and could have left early for the NFL. However, he didn’t like that idea and chose to stay around for one more season to really prove himself and man did he do just that.

He finished the year with 17 sacks to his name as well as 21.5 tackles for loss. He has tremendous speed and agility that could see him as a top five pick and the second pass rusher off the board behind Nick Bosa. To say that Allen made himself some big time money this season would be an understatement.
